i am using evolution for a while now. thunderbird is a good option, too. i have to admit, a core feature to me is calendar and addressbook integration. it is sad that none of the console mailers can do that.

@sss yeah the initial mutt config process is bad, but afterwards it’s pretty smooth sailing IMO. Do you need a working config to follow? That’s what helped me get my foot in the door.

@Bradley nice, but aerc does not like me (more precisely my server cert ) from the very beginning, ))

x509: certificate relies on legacy Common Name field, use SANs or temporarily enable Common Name matching with GODEBUG=x509ignoreCN=0

i am not go expert, any advice on this problem ?

@sss I'm not even really a programmer at all, so I doubt I can help. I also don't know anything about certs, never hosted anything with a domain.
If I were having an issue, I would join #aerc on freenode and ask them for help.
There's also a mailing list and ticket tracker you could look at for similar issues, and then submit your issue if it's not already documented.
